Step 5: Write a Full Application
Application Tips
If you get your application to us a week early we may be able to give you feedback on your proposal.
Start the application process early! Gathering materials and writing the application takes 8-12 hours for an experienced grant writer and 24-36 hours for an inexperienced grant writer.
All applications must be submitted through our online system
We regret that late or incomplete applications cannot be considered and may be tabled to the next grant funding round.
If your Letter of Inquiry is successful you will receive an e-mail providing important login information and application details. Make sure you keep this information.

READY TO GO?
Log back into the Online Application System using the same email login you used for your Letter of Inquiry. The grants form will only be available if your Letter of Inquiry was successful.
Download the templates relevant to your grant from the link in your e-mail.
SITE VISITS
Occasionally during the application process we will conduct site visits. Our staff generally select applicants for site visits if we are not familiar with your organization and project, or to give staff an opportunity to further understand your project. If selected for a site visit, Spirit Mountain Community Fund staff will coordinate and will send guidelines prior to the visit. A site visit is not indicative of funding.
