Spirit Mountain Community Fund's commitment to diversity is not a stand-alone initiative, nor is it a special program...it is who we are.

Valuing diversity promotes creative and intellectual vigor, creates an environment in which everyone feels respect and acceptance, and increases the ability to serve our community by attracting and retaining the best people. Diversity is a key element in the pursuit of our mission.

The value Spirit Mountain Community Fund places on diversity and our commitment to creating a more inclusive environment emanates from our Tribal leadership and extends throughout our organization. Our own board and staff team consists of Tribal Members, local and broader community members and we endeavor to have a robust mix of ages and genders. Our diversity process, like that of any organization, is an ongoing process.

We believe that a diverse and open community is a strong one; we support organizations that promote diversity among their leadership and employees.

A diverse workforce maximizes organizational potential by creating a more rounded, resourceful, and inclusive workplace that maintains and attracts superior employees and clients of all human differences including age, gender, race, nationality, religion, disability, sexual orientation, educational level and culture.
