Louis King, MBA, is an enrolled member of the Seminole Nation of Oklahoma and has been SMCF's Program Coordinator since 2006. Louis has many years of Tribal and Federal public service experience. Louis is a past superintendent of a historic Native American boarding school located in Salem, Oregon.
Kathleen George has assisted tribal governments accomplish their goals since 1996. A focus of her work has been the protection and restoration of the resources upon which tribal culture and heritage depend. Kathleen has been a small business owner and has worked for both the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation and previously for the Grand Ronde tribe in the Natural Resources Department. She has also worked in state government for the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality.
Julia Willis has been working in Tribal Philanthropy since 2007, and joined Spirit Mountain in the fall of 2012. She has a B.S. in Psychology from Boise State University, and is a member of the Coquille Indian Tribe.
Kristen Carver, a Grand Ronde tribal member, has worked with the Tribe since 2005. She has coordinated many major Tribal events including the Grand Ronde Restoration Celebration and the Western Tribes annual Gathering of Oregon’s First Nations Powwow. Previously she was the Public Affairs Administrative Assistant for 5 years and the Publication Secretary for 2 years. Kristen is also the proud Mom of two sons.
