Kristine Olson, Board Chair
Citizen Activist/Former U.S. Attorney for Oregon
Kris Olson served as a federal prosecutor from 1974-1984; Associate Dean and Professor of Law at Lewis & Clark from 1984-1994; Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area Commissioner (1987-1994); United States Attorney for the District of Oregon from 1994 - 2001; and Senior Counsel to Congressman Earl Blumenauer from 2001-2003. Kris authored a biography of a tribal leader whose life puts a face on the suffering caused by 20th Century federal Indian policy, Standing Tall, published by University of Washington / Oregon Historical Society presses (October 2005). Kris also serves on several other community boards, including: ACLU; Artists Reperatory Theatre; Lezak Project for Social Justice; Oregon College of Art & Craft; Oregon Shores Conservation Coalition; Scandinavian Heritage Foundation; Trust for Public Land, Tribal and Native Lands Program; and the Westwind Stweardship Group.
Sho Dozono, Board Vice Chair
President and CEO of Azumano Travel/American Express
Sho Dozono was a Portland school teacher before becoming a businessman and community leader. He currently serves as Co-Chair of the Oregon League of Minority Voters and also serves on the fundraising campaign cabinet of Mercy Corps., raising funds for projects including the New York World Hunger Center. He is a past commissioner of the Port of Portland and is past Chair of the Portland Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce (Portland Business Alliance.)
June Sell-Sherer, Tribal Council Member
Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde
June served on Tribal Council from 1999 to 2005 and was re-elected in 2007. She served on the Board for the Portland Art Museum as well as the Tribe's Veterans, Education and Culture Committees.
June worked on the Hanford Project from 1975 until 1993. After graduating from Columbia Basin College in 1995, she returned to Grand Ronde and worked in the Spirit Mountain Casino's Marketing Dept.
June is a proud veteran and served with the Women's Army Corp Military Intelligence in Frankfurt where she was honored as WAC of the month for US Army, Europe in 1969.
June and her husband Mike are blessed with three grandchildren.
Kate Brown
Oregon Secretary of State/Former Oregon State Senator
Kate Brown was appointed State Representative for District 13 in 1991. She was elected to the House in 1992 and 1994, and to the State Senate from District 7 in 1996. In 2009 Kate took office as Secretary of State for Oregon. She currently serves on the Business, Law and Government Committee, the Livability Committee, and the Ways and Means Subcommittee on General Government.
Jack Giffen, Tribal Council Member
Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde
Jack was elected to the Tribal Council in 2003. Prior to serving his Tribe, Jack was co-owner and manager of an auto parts business in Eugene , Oregon . As a small business owner, Jack was trained in ISO 9000 international standards. Jack also served on the Board of Directors for the Oregon Auto Parts Association. His education includes college coursework in accounting, and completing Spirit Mountain Casino's leadership training program.
Camille Mercier
Director of Human Resources, Spirit Mountain Casino
Camille began serving on the Spirit Mountain Community Fund Board in 2004. Camille is a Grand Ronde tribal member and serves the Tribe in a number of capacities. She is currently the Human Resources Director of the casino. In addition, Camille serves on the Community fund board, and is also a member of the Tribe's Health Committee. Camille has a degree in Organizational Development and Human Resources from George Fox University.
Reynold Leno, Tribal Council Vice Chair

Reyn was elected to the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde Tribal Council in 1996. Prior to his service with Tribal Council he worked in the timber industry. Reyn and his wife Liz raised their three children in Willamina and are proud grandparents.
Henry "Chip" Lazenby
General Counsel, Portland State University
Henry "Chip" Lazenby is presently General Counsel for Portland State University in Portland. He has previously served as general counsel for Governor John Kitzhaber, MD and for the Portland Development Commission. In addition to being an attorney he holds a MBA from the University of Oregon. Chip currently serves on a number of boards that focus on education and children. He lives with his wife Lynette and son Michael in Portland. They love the outdoors and travel. Chip is a baseball fan.
